
King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan once got scared after listening to Amitabh Bachchan’s advice.
Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have worked together in several films like Mohabbatein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Veer Zara, Kabhi Vadaa Na Kehna, Pajila, the pair has also performed together in many shows.
In a 2017 interview, Shah Rukh Khan mentioned the advice he received from Amitabh Bachchan and said that he was scared after that and did not want to be a star.
The king of film industry said that once Amitji was talking backstage before a show, he addressed me and said that he is a big star, he will do anything, he will always be wrong.
He advised Shah Rukh to always be humble, not to react, even if someone punches you.
Taking forward the conversation with Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh said that now that you have become a big star, the first thing is to fold your hands and apologise.
King Khan said that at that time I was young, I addressed Amitji and inquired if there was no mistake on my part. On this, the legendary actor said, ‘That’s what I’m saying, apologize, wherever you go, bow down and talk.’
Amitabh Bachchan asked me that if someone misbehaves with you, punches you, you will punch him back, then do you know what will happen?
I said what will happen? On this he said that ‘it will be said that you were drunk, money has gone to your head, you are a corrupt and illegal type of person’.
Shah Rukh Khan said that when I understood the conversation, I was afraid of becoming a star, if all this really happens to me, what will I be able to do? Can’t do anything? And then I sat in silence.
Shah Rukh Khan is currently playing the lead role in Yash Raj Films’ Pathan, alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, which is slated to release on January 25, 2023.
