Apps that many people use for payment do not keep up to date. But Mobile App needs to be updated. UPI Payment App needs to be upgraded to latest version. Upgrading apps to the latest version also keeps your account secure.
Don’t use too many apps –
Don’t use multiple apps for digital payments or transactions. There is often a possibility of error when using multiple apps. If you have problems with the app, get help from the help center. Don’t seek help from any outsider.
Unknown link or fake call –
Don’t click on any unfamiliar links. Hackers use UPI scams to defraud users. Hackers share or call a link with the user and ask them to download a new app through the link for verification. But do not click on any such link. Banks or other financial institutions do not ask for details such as OTP, PIN number or personal information of customers.
