Today was the hottest day in UK history, breaking the country’s hottest record. According to reports from London, the temperature in Charlewood Surrey reached 39.1 degrees Celsius.

According to media reports, the temperature in Surrey reached 37.3 degrees Celsius at 11 am. While Network Rail has issued instructions to passengers not to travel.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red warning for most parts of England including London.
