SmartPhone Tips | None of the smart phone manufacturers offer a warranty for a mobile phone that has fallen into the water.

As soon as the festival arrives, we take our cell phones and start taking selfies. Needless to say if it was a colorful day like Holi, we would be competing to take selfies with friends and relatives by hand playing with colored powders.

On days like these your smartphone is likely to miss the festival in the water. None of the smart phone manufacturers offer a warranty for a mobile phone that has fallen into the water. So if your smart phone falls into the water, at least know the steps you need to do to get the phone running again.

Things to do if the phone falls into the water:
1. If your smart phone accidentally falls into the water, take it off immediately and switch it up. Temper glass and back side phone cover should also be removed to prevent excess water from entering the mobile.

2: This is something we all know very well. Pick up the smart phone that fell into the water and wipe it with a dry cloth. Wipe well on all sides like front and back of smart phone. Port points can be wiped with cotton or cotton wool. Then wrap the phone well with tissue paper or a handkerchief.

3: Do not shake the smartphone fast as water will leak through the ports and cellphone cap. Also, make sure the SIM card is taken out

4: It is best to keep the phone in an airtight bag for at least six hours after it has fallen into the water. Since rice can absorb moisture, you can put rice in the cover along with the pony that has fallen into the water.

5: Do not use a hair dryer for any reason to dry the water entering the cell phone. Too much hot air coming from the hair dryer can damage the weak electronic devices in the phone when it is injected into the phone or the air coming from the hair dryer can push water into the cell phone too fast and complicate the situation.

6: Do not charge the smartphone without fully injuring it if it slips into the water. This can lead to a short circuit and thus the cell phone is more likely to be completely damaged.
