When a new product comes on the market, people’s desire to buy and use it is inexhaustible. Whether we are going to use it or not, as soon as we see a new product, our mind starts racing to buy it.

When the object of our friends and office colleagues appeals to us, we desire to have the same object in ourselves. Especially after the advent of e-commerce, reserving an item, eagerly waiting, then purchasing and using it is an unbridled joy.

For example, you may have seen the launch sale of new mobile phones on e-commerce companies like Flipkart, Amazon. You have seen lakhs of phones sold in few hours and out of stock message immediately. It’s not surprising that phones in the range of a couple of thousand are selling so fast in today’s digital world.

But have you seen people competing for cars worth several lakhs? And is it believable that one lakh customers booked it within half an hour of its opening? But that is the truth. Buying a car can be a big dream for the common man.

But for those who are affluent enough to switch cars like they switch mobile phones, the desire to own the next top brand car in the market is overwhelming. This is the revelation of Mahindra’s Scorpio N car bookings.

18 thousand crore worth
The more surprising news for you is that within the first minute of the Scorpio N car bookings, 25,000 cars were booked. A total of one lakh customers booked in the next half hour. The total value of one lakh cars booked is Rs 18 thousand crore as per ex-showroom price.
