British carmaker MG’s mid-size SUV MG Hector is going to get an update. The company can launch it in the Indian market around the next festival season (Festival Season 2022) i.e. Diwali. The pictures of this car (MG Hector photo) have come out before the launch. In these pictures, the car is seen without any camouflage.
The front grille and headlamp cluster of the car have been revised. The spotted model was seen in a gray shade with a red stripe. The tail light units of this model can also be updated. MG Motor launched this car for the first time in the Indian market in the year 2019. MG Hector became a hit in the market as soon as it was launched.
It will launch an updated model of the SUV with better looks and new features
The facelifted model of the MG Hector was launched in the year 2021, but by then Maruti Suzuki’s SUV had entered the market along with Hyundai and Tata and subsequently had a major impact on the sales of the MG Hector. Now the company will launch an updated model of this SUV with better looks and new features.
Automatic transmission options
Talking about the engine, power and features of the next generation 2022 MG Hector, according to media reports, the new Hector can also use 1.5 liter 4 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, 1.5 liter petrol engine, 2.0 liter turbocharged diesel. 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options can be seen in this SUV.

On the other hand, in terms of features, it will get Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) like Aster and Gloster along with other standard and safety features like adaptive cruise control, front collision warning, blind spot monitoring, lane assist, improved infotainment system. And AI assist will be provided. The new MG Hector may be launched in a price range of up to Rs 20 lakh.
