Realme GT Neo 3 is worth spending at least Rs 36,999 on the back, know
Realme GT Neo 3 Review: Realme is one of the best selling brands in the Indian market right now. The activity of the organization is also worth seeing. Realme launches new models of smartphones throughout the year. But in the business process they highlight several smartphones more. One such smartphone is the Realme GT Neo 3. The company is also giving special importance to this smartphone with the fastest charging technology in the market. This smartphone has also brought various offers in terms of price.
Realme GT Neo 3 was launched in India earlier this year. The phone comes with 150W fast charging, MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset and many more attractive features. Realme GT Neo 3 with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 80W charging variant is priced at Rs 36,999. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 38,999, and the 150W Realme GT Neo 3 is priced at Rs 42,999 in India. Apart from this, this smartphone has a special edition. The Thor: Love And Thunder special edition Realme GT Neo 3 smartphone is priced at Rs 42,999 for the 150W variant.
Only the top-of-the-line 150W fast charging variant has been selected for review here. In this article, both the pros and cons of Realme GT Neo 3 will be discussed. At least Rs 36,999 can be seen on the back of Realme GT Neo 3.
The design of Realme GT Neo 3 is quite attractive. While there’s nothing special about the shape, the rear panel has a rectangular ‘triple rear camera’ setup in the upper left corner. Built with a hole-punch display and an edge glass back panel. But the color is attractive.
Realme GT Neo 3 has ‘Racing Stripe’ design on the back panel. The image shown here is blue in color. To the left of the ‘Cobalt’ blue back cover, a white stripe runs below the camera module. The back panel of this phone looks like frosted glass. And that is why it is different from other smartphones. Realme has also spotted a similar white color model with black stripes. But not everyone will like this ‘racing stripe’. That’s why this phone has a completely black color model.
On the front, the Realme GT Neo 3 features a hole-punch design front panel. Notably, the Realme GT Neo 3 has reduced its wide chin.
The display of this smartphone is also quite good. The Realme GT Neo 3 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. As seen, this 120Hz refresh rate can provide a very smooth display. But the user can choose this refresh rate. But only 60Hz or 120Hz refresh rate can be chosen. The display is sharp. Colors can be a little eye-catching in default mode, but this can be changed with the display settings. The display is fine for everyday use.
However, it does not support HDR10. Watching videos on Netflix and YouTube shouldn’t be a problem though.
Performance and software
The Realme GT Neo 3 smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, with up to 12GB of RAM. The phone under review here is the 150W variant with 12GB RAM. It goes without saying that this smartphone has proved itself to be quite a good performer. Installing apps, opening them quickly, switching from one to another can be done very smoothly. Realme GT Neo 3 makes multitasking faster.
Playing several games on the Realme GT Neo 3 showed that the gaming experience is good while keeping the 60FPS frame rate alert. Games like ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’, ‘Call of Duty: Mobile’, ‘Real Racing 3’ and more run on high graphics settings and the Realme GT Neo 3 can consistently deliver good performance between 55-60FPS frame rates. The display does not offer the best detailing for gaming, but it performs quite well.
Talking about performance, Realme UI has the same software as previous phones. Realme UI 3.0, one of the cleaner Android skins right now. However, that’s not to say it’s not very good at providing a seamless, simple experience free of bloatware and bugs. Realme still has a long way to go for this. A bunch of bloatware apps still remain, though far fewer than before. You still need to grant several permissions to start using the smartphone.
Realme GT Neo 3’s battery lasts a while. The smartphone comes with a 4,500mAh battery for the 150W fast charging variant and a 5,000mAh battery for the 80W fast charging variant. The phone under discussion here is the 4,500mAh + 150W variant. Realme GT Neo 3’s battery lasts quite a while. Overall, the smartphone battery can easily last about a day and a half.
The Realme GT Neo 3 smartphone can be charged from zero to 100 in 20 minutes. But it gets quite hot while charging. So be careful. It is better not to do anything while charging.
The Realme GT Neo 3 is available with a triple rear camera setup. The smartphone has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter and a 2-megapixel macro lens camera. Images out of the main camera look sharp, but saturated in bright light.
Images with the new Sony IMX766 sensor have more detail and better dynamic range. But the light exposure may seem a bit high. Low light images can be beautiful and detailed. Even in low-light photos, light exposure can seem a little overdone.
On the other hand, images from wide angle lenses look much less saturated and colors are much denser and more accurate. Portrait mode also handles colors quite well and edge detection and background blur are pretty good on the Realme GT neo 3.
All in all, it’s a good camera, but images can seem overexposed. This can be changed if the smartphone is used in manual mode. This camera can be used better in manual mode. It may make the picture better.
As a result, it is understood that Realme GT Neo 3 can beat many other phones in the Android phone market. Competition is already high in the premium mid-range segment. There Realme GT Neo 3 is trying to hold its own. With a very different design, good display, performance and super fast charging, this phone is proving itself to be quite effective. Realme GT Neo 3 is a good smartphone that can enjoy flagship performance.
The Realme GT Neo 3 smartphone was launched earlier this year as a competitor to the OnePlus 10R. Actually the body of the two phones is different but the specifications are almost the same. If we compare these two phones, Realme GT Neo 3 can be put quite ahead. Or better said, this is the best.
But it’s also true that as a standalone premium mid-range smartphone, the Realme GT Neo 3 only gets 150W fast charging. Apart from this, Realme does not offer anything special. There are many other smartphones with all these features in the Indian market, priced much lower. But none of them can offer 150W fast charging technology.
